Simulação numérica de fluxo e transporte de cromo na Floresta Estadual Edmundo Navarro de Andrade, município de Rio Claro – SP.

A área de estudo, localiza-se sobre terrenos da Floresta Estadual Dr. Edmundo Navarro de Andrade, uma importante reserva ecológica para o município de Rio Claro/SP, e encontra-se sobre sedimentos das formações Corumbataí, Serra Geral, Rio Claro e Depósitos Cenozoicos. Foram constatadas concentrações anômalas de cromo, que excedem o limite de potabilidade definido pelo CONAMA n°396 (0,01 mg/L) na área de estudo. Para o entendimento do fluxo, bem como o entendimento do comportamento geoquímicos deste metal, e os fatores que controlam o desenvolvimento desta pluma, realizou-se o modelo de fluxo e a simulação de transporte do cromo. As simulações foram feitas a partir do método dos elementos finitos, utilizando-se do software FEFLOW. A pluma resultante da simulação demonstrou forte controle da sorção e da dispersividade transversal em seu comportamento.
